Exterior house painting preparation
*The most important process in exterior house painting does not involve a paintbrush, roller or airless sprayer. It is the preparing of the surface prior to painting your home that will make or break the paint job. It is rarely the paint that fails but rather the adhesion or bounding of the paint to the surface below. The main reason paint fails is because the surface was not cleaned or prepared right. So always make sure your painting surface is clean, dry, free from grease, oils and flaking or loose paint. This will allow your primer and finish paint a good surface to bond. Painting the exterior of your house over a dirty or poorly prepared surface will always lead you to trouble down the road.
